On vacation I ate crap all week long, bc who I visited didn't need to diet. ( he's a stick ) and there was a lot of sharing food, etc. Anyway, what was good was that we walked everywhere! So, I must of kind of evened it out. When I got on the scale last night, I was the same as when I left. Now that I'm back at home, I gotta start eating right again and continue to excersize. Hopefully it won't be to hard.
The positive is you are ready to get back on track and you didn't do any damage scale wise. I'd say you did pretty well, considering the circumstances.
OK, I think some congratulations are in order! I think what you experienced, in addition to a vacation, was a sampling of maintenance. While we're losing weight there are many foods that we avoid like the plague, and while that works for a while, it isn't necessarily something that you will do for the rest of your life. I WILL eat cake OCCASSIONALLY.....that's my new lifestyle. Special occassions, not just because it's Tuesday...etc. You managed to have a good time with a friend and not gain weight. Good for you!
