The 2-5 lbs per week they advertise is an average - someone with a lot of weight to lose is more likely to lose 5 lbs/week; someone with less to lose (like me) will be in the 2-3 lbs/week range. I had about 30 to lose, started averaging about 3 lbs/week but that slowed down pretty quick to around 2 lbs/week overall. Originally Posted by BrownEyedChick

I'm struggling with believing that I can lose the weight. And there is chocolate everywhere I turn!
You'll lose more quickly if you exercise. You'll lose more quickly if you stick with the program. But - this isn't a race. And your body will release the weight on its schedule, not yours. Just be patient, stick with the program as closely as you can, drink your water & exercise, and the weight will come off.
Chocolate has always been there, it will always be there. For now, you just need to find an on-program substitute. Once you get to maintenance, a little chocolate will be your reward for sticking with it now. But now - which is more important? Chocolate, or your health? Chocolate, or the $$ you're spending on MRC?
