Music to Workout To

  • I workout doing my Calisthenics & Stationary Bike in the computer room & just started getting some music together to workout to. I was just wondering if anyone works out to music, and if so can you give me some ideas? I like country, rock, classic rock, and anything popular in the last 3 years or so. Here is my current workout song list, which I keep on shuffle mode. • Let's not forget Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now) by C+C Music Factory :-)
  • Good one! I'd totally forgotten about it!!
  • Click HERE to be brought to another thread here about workout music, there's a great range of genres and a lot of fantastic suggestions!
  • Ok yall may hate me, oh and I'm new by the way but I worked out for the first time today and I used Britney Spear's new cd ok I know I know, but really it's so clubby and up beat so maybe if there are still any fans out there it's good workout music, sorry I know maybe I shouldn't listen to her music, but I've liked her since middle school, I love music I can dance too.
  • Ms, I work out to Britney Spears sometimes too. I love her new song. It's kind of funny to see people's reactions when I tell them that I actually like her music. It sure isn't deep, but it's fun and it has a good beat.

I love listening to club music when I work out. This is pretty ironic becuase I HATE clubs. There's a great club version of Winona Judd singing "I wanna know what love is." And club songs are usually pretty long, so for some reason it motivates me to know I've already been working out for 7 minutes after just one song. Maybe I'm weird. I look on amazon at the Ultra Weekend or Ultra dance compilations for ideas... then just click around like crazy and download. It's fun to discover new music.
