Woo Hoo!!

  • I did it! My first 5K "race"! The Run for the Cure was AMAZING. I saw so many survivors there who were inspirational, and the spirit was incredible. Finished in 31 minutes, which is pretty slow, but fast for me! It's 4 minutes off my best time for a 5K! And we started near the end of the runners. I can't wait to do it again next year!!
  • Awesome job! I would love to do a 5K sometime in the future when I am in better shape and cleared medically (still recovering from hip/knee injuries from a car accident). 31 minutes is pretty good, at least I think so. I think the fastest I could ever do an "informal" 5K was 33 minutes-- back when I was in shape!
  • great work. give yourself some credit 31 min is pretty darn good. you completed...more than others can say. YAY for you!!!!!!
