woo hoo, I'm overweight!!!

  • BMI-wise, that is. I'm now in the "Overweight" category instead of the "Obese" category according to my BMI. I still have a long way to my goal but it's encouraging to see my scale moving in the right direction and I'm celebrating little goals along the way to keep me encouraged. It might not look like much from where I started SBD at 199 lbs, but coming from my high weight of 225 it's a good step.
  • yay!!
  • What great news and you have come a long way. You are in onderland and you continue to lose.
  • Kestrel, I think this is a fantastic accomplishment!!!

Don't feel like you have to explain why this is a big deal, hon...it definitely is and we all get it! Congrats on moving into a whole new category of health!
  • Of course it's a big deal! I can hardly wait to join you!

  • Ain't life just great on the beach!!! I was so thrilled when I found out I was overweight too...the numbers just make you feel healthier!
    Big Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • LOL, when I was 18 and 100 lbs (prior to the 100+ lb Depo Provera weight gain) I never could have imagined how happy I would be to "only" be overweight!
  • I am with you kestrel, when I finally got into overweight instead of obese in bmi calculation, I was ecstatic, so Congratulations that is a major victory for you- here's to you and the rest of getting into the healthy range for bmi...
