2nd half of the month to kick it up!...i am committed to it...good luck all on reaching your exercise goals for this month
  • So far Ive done just under 32 miles on my bike and about 2.5 hours of weight training. WOW! Never added it up before!!
  • I'm new at posting so I just saw this thread, but how appropriate since I restarted my exercise regimen today. Right now, it's important for me to just log some cardio. So for the next four weeks I am committed to doing 3 miles 5 times a week for a goal of 60 miles by 9/16. So that's approx. 30 miles by the end of the month.

I bought myself an ipod nano and nike shoes - there is a transmitters you buy so the two talk to each other. This is great if you are not on a treadmill. It keeps track of (pretty accurately too) your pace, time, distance and calories. If you are looking for an extra motivator or something fun then definitely check this out-it's great! I even take it when I walk my dog to see how far I go.

But to "check in"-my first workout today:

    Aug. 20-3.27 miles / 45 min.
    Aug. 21-4.22 miles / 60 min.
    Aug. 22-OFF
    Aug. 23-4.22 miles / 60 min.
    Aug. 24-45 min. elliptical / 3 miles (?)
Aug. 25-1.75 mile walk / 1.5 hours tennis
    Aug. 26-OFF
