  • Robin, I just got to say that you are such a blessing and such an inspiration.

I absolute agree, I could not have said it better.

I read your posts and often save them to remind that I can do it as well.
May be sleepless nights may be the changes in me make me teary-eyed, but each time when I read I am almost wimpering.

Thank you so much everyone for your daily inputs on many threads. Your examples are so inspirational....
  • Pita and CBETA - I thank you so very much for your incredibly kind words. You can't possibly know what that means to me to "hear" you saying these things. It is such an added bonus that I totally hadn't planned on - to be able to inspire others. It makes me so very happy to think that maybe, just maybe even a little bit I can help someone along their journey.
  • OK. So here I am reading all of your posts. I feel so inspired and so excited about this. I have been "doing" weight watchers for 1 1/2 years and have lost 15 pounds. But I am only "doing" it. maybe 2-3 days out of the week. So I am not taking pounds off. I havent gained any, but I am basically counter acting the good days with the bad. So if I can do this 7 days a week then imagine the possibilities.

I bought a pair of sixe 10 jeans and they are push pineed into my wall right by my closet. they are supposed to be an inspiration to get me to continue my journey.

Right now. they are what I want. I dont have my mind on a certain weight. It was 150 but if I can get in those size 10 then I will be ecstatic. Of course I say that now. But I dont know how I will feel when I get there. I may want to lose more or I may be happy there. I guess only time will tell.

So I am going to start the Calorie Counting and get my butt back to the gym. Hopefully with motivation and the help of GOD. I will be able to get healthy and skinny. ( :

    Thanks again for everyones input.....
  • Dek, you are doing an awesome thing that many people are unable to do: You are MAINTAINING! When you get to goal, you will already know you can maintain, and will know at least one way to do it, even if you decide on a different way. You will have a lenth of successful experience, because you are doing it now. Don't discount what a winner you are Right Niow, girl! No self flagellation, now. Oh, wow, the Self-Floagellation Thread! d'ya think it'll sell? Betcha among us we know enough about the subject to write the post-grad curriculum...
  • Shellie...

Thank alot. I never thought about it like that. I guess I have looked at it like I waisted 1 1/2 years staying the same size. But I did lose 15 pounds within a very short amount of time and I have kept it off. Wow. Imagine what I can do in a year if I get my but in gear. LOL

    Thank for the encouragement.....
