    I'm actually Christian but I feel strong ties to our Jewish roots and I want our children to understand the history of our faith, so we celebrate many of the Jewish holidays and use them as opportunities to learn more about the history of the Christian faith. My kids love to help me cook, and since so many Jewish holidays are so entwined with specific foods, it creates a fun segue to learning.

    I may be peppering you with questions from time to time!

    And guilting about salt and sugar isn't bad, in my opinion.
