Dawn......I nursed 2 of my 5 until they were about 18 months. I never thought I would nurse a baby that long.......but each one of them is different. All of them self weaned, except for my youngest.......and he really didn't even miss it when we stopped. I stayed fat to nurse my babies too.......and I don't regret it one bit. I did try some calorie reduction with my 3 child, but she slowed in her weight gain a lot, so I just HAD to go off my diet. Anyway........my hats off to you.........changing your life in a way to include caring for yourself also is not an easy thing to do.
