Default ugh, i felt really good about how i did

today between the birthdays and the easter stuff (had a combined thing to celebrate easter and 2 of my children's birthdays). then I got home and sat down to make a pretty good guesstimate of what I actually ate, as honestly as I could, and it still wasn't pretty....sigh....
i really felt like I did ok, didn't binge, didn't stuff myself, but it stilllll was way too much. how freakin' depressing..
oh well, tomorrow is another day.

Well at least you tried to guesstimate. I was going to but between two Easter dinners (one yesterday and one today) I think it would be impossible so my Fitday will have 2 blank days in it. I know I didn't stuff myself at any time, but I ate waaayyy more than I usually eat.

Oh well, tomorrow is a new day and time to get back on track!

For me...I couldn't even guestimate today damage...I thought I wold do ok today....but you know what??? 1 day here and there really wont make me gain all the weight back, or get me off track forever...Its a part of life...eating like this everyday or even once or twice a week would do me in....once a month or 2...no biggie...

My tummy hurts so bad its so stuffed that the next few days, I'll probably eat light and TONS of veggies and water to sort of detox myself....I feel horrible...(physically full not mentally regretting it)

Don't be upset -- think about what you would have eaten in previous years!

I'll wait while you write it down....

Oh, you're still writing????!!!

Did you do better than last year??? Then congratulate yourself!

And even if you didn't do better, try to learn from the experience. Try to figure out what got you really off track and try not to let it happen next time!

This is for life, and things are going to get in the way. The best we can do is learn from our mistakes and move on!

I stayed within my range (estimated cals) but it was so not filling. I just took a tiny portion of everything, from ham to potato salad to pie. It tasted wonderful, but now I'm going to be hungry the rest of the night. It'll be good to eat a larger portion of healthy food tomorrow!

Same here. I haven't binged either but I have gotten off track the last few days. I think it started with the fact that for two weeks I was stuck at the same weight. First week was TOM so I kind of expected that but I stayed with what I had been doing and still exercised some. Second week still nothing and by the end of it, I had gone up two pounds...and this was before I went off track! So that was kind of a bummer. Then along comes Easter and there's M & M's and Skittles in the house, plus things my mom made. We had a luncheon at work last week and this week there's also a work-related dinner event...something tells me April is not going to be one of my better weight-loss months!

Anyway...so I'm not crazy about the last couple of days and weeks but I'm not going to let it ruin what I'm trying to do either. It feels a little like a gust of wind pushed me back some and I just have to try a little harder to get back to where I was and then get back in step again.

Wow...I suddenly feel better about my high-calorie weekend. It's funny; my bad binge day was still lower than what my daily calorie intake once was. :P Thanks for putting that in perspective!
