A married couple went to the hospital....

  • A married couple went to the hospital to have their
baby delivered. And upon their arrival, the doctor said
that the hospital was testing an amazing new high-tech
"birthing machine" that would transfer a portion of the
mother's labor pain to the baby's father. The doctor then
asked if they might be willing to try it out and thus both
contribute to medical science while at the same time giving
some small relief to the mother. Both husband and wife said
they were very much in favor of it.
The doctor set the pain transfer to 10 percent just for
starters, explaining that even 10 percent was probably more
pain than the father had ever experienced before. But as the
labor progressed, the husband felt fine and asked the doctor
to go ahead and kick it up a notch. The doctor then adjusted
the machine to 20 percent pain transfer ..and the husband was
still feeling fine. At this point the doctor then checked the
husband's blood pressure ...and was amazed at how well he was
doing!! So ....they decided to try for a full 50 percent.
The husband continued to feel quite well ...and since the
pain transfer was obviously helping the wife considerably, the
husband encouraged the doctor to transfer ALL the pain to him.
The wife delivered a healthy baby with virtually no pain,
and the husband had actually experienced none himself. The wife
    and her husband were ecstatic!!

When they got home they found the UPS man dead on the porch.
  • I've heard that one before but it always makes me laugh. Especially since we used to joke that our daughter was really fathered by the UPS man...
  • That is cute. I will definitely share that with my friends. My dad worked for UPS for many years, as well as my son, and neighbor across the street. Maybe they'll appreciate that one?

Then I guess he's heard the one about the FedEx and UPS merger to become FedUps?
  • So...that would be a UPS baby pronounced OOPS?
