I have this habit. I actually take a calendar, and at the end of the week (usually my weigh-in day) I write down the number of lbs I'll lose if I keep at my plan. I do not go more than 2lbs per week. Then if I lose more, I readjust my calendar and the days to my goal become smaller.
I know some might argue that it's kind of setting myself up for failure. Like I'm putting too much expectations on myself. But it's actually fun. And I feel it makes me want to stick to my plan and not go nuts on binging.
So... does anyone else do that?
