There is a Womens Expo today in Knoxville. Lots of food, fashion and more. I heard about it the other day and had made plans to go. Food Network chef George Duran from Ham On The Street is going to be there and so is Jane Seymour. I was looking forward to meeting both of them.


The reason that I cant go? I have no way to get there. My car broke down Wednesday an hour away from home and I had to have it towed. I think its the fuel pump. My brother and his mechanic friends are supposed to look at it later today.

But you could go over to the smile thread and put in a for your brother and his friends for being able to help you with the car. Boy I know how I would feel if I was going to miss Rachael Ray

I'm sorry your car broke down, and you weren't able to go to the Expo. I love watching George Duran, and would love to have the chance to meet him. He's so funny. I hope your car gets fixed soon.

Its not fixed yet. I borrowed my Dads vehicle last night so I could go to Walmart.

Knoxville?!?!? Did somebody say Knoxville?!?!?!? I'm bummed too Anita, cause I would have lovee to have gone to the Expo as well, but I couldn't cause I'm in FREAKIN MICHIGAN!!!!!!!!

However, there are at least 5 good reasons for you to keep your head up
1) you are in East Tennessee
2) East Tennessee is having beautiful weather right now
3) the Volunteers are going to the NCAA tournament (Men and Women's teams
4) You have supportive family members that have the skill to help you out and repair your car
and...........
5) You have the same name as the most interesting person on this site (ME- my name is also Anita - Tikanique is a nickname I got as a child)

So chin up young lady, you have a lot to smile about.
