  • I'm not, nor do I ever think I will be, lol. But my sister was when she was 34. Of course she was a young mother too. I do look forward to being on when and if it ever happens though.

CONGRATULATION'S on becoming a grandmama next month!
  • I'm 20 and I couldn't even imagine being a grandmother in 14 years. If you don't mind me asking, how old were you when you had your children.?
  • i was 16 when i had her and YEAH i was shocked to all hellbut i've calmed down and now getting excited

lol I was almost 34 when I had my 1st baby so I think young gramma is out of the question here

my brother, through marriage was a grandpa at 31, when he was in his 20's he married a woman who had a teenage daughter.
  • Yep i married a younger man I had the teens and now after 6 years of marriage he's gonna be a grandpa at 26 LOL
  • I'm 39 and became a Grammy last December, that's my Grandbaby "Colt" in the picture. There is another one due the end of June, but I can't wait. Being a Grandparent is really the best because you can enjoy them and then they go home.
  • yep im excited here's a picture of her

    She's 17 1/2
Trust me i was pissed but she with held it from me to long so i had to just let her learn on her own this isnt gonna be easy
  • I WANT ONE! AND I WANT ONE NOW!

I am 53 and my 25 year old son just was married in Nov. My daughter is 23 and will be married in May...she is my best hope ..she loves her daddy! I can probably "guilt trip her into it "..of course my son loves me too...but I don't think my dear dil is ready yet

I have a friend that had a daughter when he was 16 (he married an 18 yr old girl that was pregnant with another guys child) that daughter had a son at 16...guess what? That boy had a daughter at 16...so know my buddy is 53 and has had a GREAT grandchild for about 5 years!!

Oh how lucky you are GODDESS to be such a young HOT Grandma!
  • Well, first off Congrats!

My Dad's Cousin became a Grandma at I think 34 exactly as well! (She was also 16 when she had her son and he was 18 when his daughter was born). She, however, was fit to be tied. Pissed. She did not let my (what is it at this point, 2nd, 3rd?) cousin call her gramma. She felt she was too young. And, true 34 is young, but so what? You are what you are. So my whole cousins life she called her grandmother Aunt Marie. Weird if you ask me. She is now a great-grandma at 60. I think great-grand baby calls her nana.

    !
Hahaha! My dad and mom are the same age and I am 23 but they tell me....... Lotte, we can wait honey, we can wait on that!
Basically, they are saying "we want 'em but you are in school and NOT ready for them and we are NOT providing 24hr free childcare."

Fine...now take a deep breath...ahhh...let it go...ahhh..poof! Gone!...NOW IF IT WAS MY KID

PS ~ DD is as gorgeous as you!
  • LOTTE ~ you have smart parents!
  • My SIL had her daughter at age 16, that daughter had her 1st child at 15, so she was a grandma at the advanced age of 31!!! I have a cousin who is the same age as me (35), she married an older guy with a couple of kids. Well, those kids are now in their early 20's and having families of their own. Their kids call her Grandma and she loves it. She is still trying to have one of her very own though. Congratulations on the upcoming arrival!
  • My brother in law (who is only 36) just became a new grandpa and new daddy within 2 weeks of each other! His wife and daughter (who is only 18) became pregnant in the same month! Let's just say he was NOT happy about the news from his daughter. But he loves his new babies!
