Morning all! I am going to concentrate on being POP today. Yesterday was... not. Time is ticking away, and I have 5 weeks to buckle down before my trip. Trying to stay focused ...and calm, LOL.
Ulanda - I am glad that your COD is at least making an effort to help you. I wish you luck.
Evette - sorry, I don't have a contact. We are staying at the Mariott Marquis at the end of the month for BIL 50th, but a friend of a friend of my SIL had a discount. Our 'discount' price is $250/night, which at first I thought... big deal. Then I checked the rack rates.... WOWIE! Almost 50% off. Keep trying the websites, they may open something up the closer you get.
Cassi - Yay! You're back (no pun intended!). Keep up those meds - think pain management, but be careful even if it feels good - DH has chronic back issues and it has taken him a long time to learn this.

Kim – Sorry you had to waste your time on such a “cheesy” meeting. LOL. I crack myself up!
Cracking me up too!
Deb - I hope that your mental block dissolves soon. I hope that mine goes with it.
Pearl - I am so sad for you, losing Candy. I'm sure she had a great life with your family these past 8 years.
Debbie - Handbags, sunglasses, the whole deal in NYC! Gotta love it!
Nicole - WTG on being POP all day! I haven't seen a post from you yeat - are you walking? I saw Candice's holiday photo yesterday too! It was great!
Nikki - I don't know the science behind it, but I think that fresh lemons 'work' better. Probably something with the lemon oils. So you would have to drink less fresh lemon water to get the same effect.
Barb - All that gorgeous hair and you don't even have to dry it for work! I hate you! (kidding, of course) I have realized this past week of working out that I can do 1.5 miles on my treadmill in 20 minutes, and that if I could get my butt out of bed I could get it over with in the morning. You've (and BootCamp Kinga Joni) inspired me to try it for a week... Thanks!
Ugh - the drama is ramping up at work. It's making me physically ill. In a nutshell, we had an insane (narcissist) superintendent last year that the board got rid of, but could not say why publicly because it was a personnel issue. That got all of the rumors started (by the ex-sup't herself) as to why she was let go. Then a teacher's husband got on the board, and he's a little crazy himself and won't let things die. We have a great board member who's up for re-election this year, and now the crazy bd member is going after him because he wants somebody else on the board. This whole thing is just ridiculous and sickening. This is why normal people do not run for office. In the middle of all of this, we are trying to hire a new superintendent - now, wouldn't YOU just be dying to apply for a job here?
