    I am ready to get geared up for the New Year and put an end to the feasting of the holidays!

    My goal is to lose two lbs a week until the beginning of May. Beginning Jan 1--and going until May 6.

    It would be great to have some diet buddies to provide support and tips on how to get through this!


    Lets work together to lose that weight and keep ourselves healthy.

  • Hey, I'm in! I'm doing the Valentines Day challenge. I graduate in June, so I would love to be looking hot by May My goal will be to lose 15-20 pounds from now. It seems like a lot right now, but I'm pumped to give it a try

    I will join you for this one too! Hopefully I can get down my goal of 125. I will oh so excited though if I could just get to 130 and maintain, but 125 would be icing on the cake!
  • Hmmm, I'm thinking I wanna be 155-145 by May 6. My birthday is May 4th so it'll be like a birthday present to me. So at the minimum that 5lbs a month. Recently I've been doing 7 or 8lbs a month, so this should be easy. SHOULD BE.

    I'm definately in . I have 36 lbs to loose by my 40th birthday on May 25th. The timing of this challenge is perfect. I'm feeling very motivated and my plan will be Body for Life workouts and eating plan.
    I've had success on this plan about 5 years ago so want to give it a try again. I love the focus this plan puts on building muscle with intense but short workouts. The key for me will be consistant workouts absolutely no skipping and frequent small meals that focus on including protein several times a day. Good to hear from everyone. Good luck in this challenge

    I am gearing up an working on my eating and exercise plan goals for the New Year--it looks like a lot of you have lost a bunch of weight already--maybe everyone could share your weight loss tips?

    Mine would be to drink lotsa water--at least 100oz a day and to brush my teeth after dinner so that I dont snack in the evening.
  • Hi everyone, I'd love to join this challenge! My name is Katie, and I'm and 18 year old college student. I'm almost to my (arbitrary) goal weight of 140, and I'd love to reach that goal this semester! My finals end on May 4, and my birthday is May 25 so this would be a GREAT present! I think I will be able to lose more than 15 pounds, so I'm just putting 15+ as my goal.

  • Yay!! I love challenges! Count me in! In May my dad is retiring from the military in may so me and my sister and my mom will all have to go dress shopping and buy something nice to wear to his ceremony. I would love to be small enough to buy a cute little dress. I want to loose, 20 pounds by May, or 1-2 dress sizes. I guess i will copy and paste our goals too.

  • Hey there Snow ..this is perfect for me ..I have taken the valintines
    caleng also ... The reason this one is great is because we are going to australia may 14 and Iam in nova scotia canada .. so its a very long ride in the plane to be overweight!!! anyway I will take the 36 pound goal with you ... lets go people .. of course i have alot more to lose but this would be wonderful ...... thanks just what I needed ....... mark me down for the goals ...... think thin !!!!!   • Can I join in. I am officially starting Jan 1st.

    In 18 weeks I hope to lose 25 pds by the beginning of May. My plan is basic make better food choices and exercise alot more. That helped me lose the first 30 unfortunatley since the end of Oct I have gained back 5. SO I have about 30 - 40 to lose.

  • Good for you on the 5 pounds ...way to go girl !!!! I have not weighed yet but Iam hoping .. I dont know when weigh in day is ..I dont think they have one as Iam new here also ..... hope we are all loosers

  • I would love to join in on this challenge as well. We would like to start ttc for our 2nd child in June, and I want to loose all my excess weight before I start gaining again I need to loose about 57 pounds before then, so I'm also going to shoot for a 26 pound loss.
