I have been a calorie counter for a while now but two days ago my sister and me decided to go on this diet that has an eating plan. This type of diet is better for me cuz my failure always seems to come when i have to choose what i want to eat. When hunger calls i usually make wrong chioces.
The diet was made by a doctor and was origianlly for people who needed to lose weight quickly before heart surgery (by-pass surgury i think). But, having been counting calories for so many months im really worried that im getting too many calories. On the flip side i am eating hardly any carbs.
Here is a rough sketch of what the diet plan is like:
Breakfast-eggs,
bacon,
1/2 a grapefrit or 1 cup grapefruit juice.
Lunch-meat(any kind)
salad (any dressing)
1/2 a grapefruit or 1 cup grapefruit juice
Dinner- meat (any kind)
veggies-(almost any-my paper has a list of veggies i can't eat)
1/2 a grapefruit or 1 cup of grapefruit juice
Before bed-1 cup lowfat milk
I can eat as much as a want of the meat and veggies. Thing is meat tends to have a lot of calories so im worried that im eating too many cals. Am i just being paraniod or am i really eating too many cals? Your opinion would be super helpful. Thanks!!
