WW again

  • i did ww in june and lost about 12 pounds. i have recently been testing quite a few things out. i tried the whole food lifestyle and that went good for about a month. then i got burnt out on it and had the urge to wander op. then just yesterday i decided to begin calorie counting and i was only able to get in 1149. i was starving all day long because i didn't want to eat to much with the fear of going over my limit. today i have made the choice to go back to ww. my co-worker let me borrow her things in june and she is going to bring them back to me 2morrow. i don't have the funds to go grocery shopping right now so i'm stuck with what's at home, but since i have been eating healthy according to my own plan lately my frig. is stocked with healthy foods. i also plan to start eating the frozen ww meals. my mother has always been a big cook, even though she hates to cook, she hates frozen food just as much, so we never really ate anything frozen in my house when i was a kid and that's why i hate frozen food so much. but i am going to try and find some that taste halfway decent. i need these meals because i don't have much time to cook everyday and still eat before 6pm. so on those days i need something that i can just stick in the microwave. i remember how easy ww was in june, there were times when i was able to go and get an ice cream cone from mcdonald's just to get those last couple of points in for the day and it was wonderful. i am really praying that this will work out for me and with help from above and the support from all you ladies i know it will!!! thank you all for listening!!!
  • Welcome back to WW! Starting fresh in January sounds like a good plan especially if you are stocked up for the time being and low on funds.

Good luck with your weight loss journey!
  • Welcome back to WW jusj5571. I've also tried many "diets" over the years and I believe the WW way is the best. As you saw, when you lost 12 pounds in June, the plan really works if you work it right. Looking forward to hearing about your success.
  • Welcome back! I'm sure WW will be just the ticket for you, especially since you can eat what you want in moderation. Good luck!
  • jusj...Many of us have done WW more than once. This is the longest I have been OP and the most I have lost. I started back on it in September and lost 34 pounds before starting back at the meetings...which I started Dec 4. I really think one of the keys to success is support. I didn't get the support from meetings but I found it elsewhere...here at 3fatchicks and several Yahoo groups. I wish you luck and know that there is always support here.
