Hi There! Newbie Alert

  • Well newish to 3 Fat Chicks anyway. I've been lurking for awhile.

    I lost 40lbs in 2005, and gained it all back this year (bah!).

    So basically instead of gaining even more weight for christmas I decided I'd start tracking calories and working out again now, rather than weight till January 1st.

    Anyway, just thought I'd de-lurk myself before I just jumped into the fray.

    The holidays can be such a hard time to start something, but it is definitely better now than just waiting until January. Even small changes and just being conscious of what we eat can make a big difference.

  • Welcome. I have been posting this site for about 2 months and it has really helped me figure out what I want to do and how to do it. Eat less and move more. I guess I already knew that but to see real people trying and being so successful is what has really motivated me to take it slow and make it permanent. You will really love this place.
