Hi everyone - I just got back from getting my new tattoo - I had a maple leaf that I really didn't like, and got it covered with this starfish. It's still swollen, so it'll fade in the next couple weeks - what looks red right now will be purple - and it's about the size of my hand. Anyway, I absolutely love it, and just wanted to share it! It was something I was waiting to do until I lost some weight, so I'm so happy to finally have it done.

I tried putting the picture in directly, but it kept coming up huge, and no one needs to see that much of my rear! (and sorry for the bum shot!)

I have a little tiny tattoo I got when I was 17. It's a tiny little spiral on the side of my wrist. I love it, it's so random I'm thinking I'll get another when I finish my Master's.... Permanent body decoration as a reward for dealing with this crap :P

We get to post our tattoos? I made the deal with myself that after I lost some weight I would get a tattoo. And one turned into 2....but everytime I go in for new work I make sure I've lost 10 lbs, so it's a cool reward and reminds me daily of my journey......IMG_0075.jpg

That's incredible, cheercoach - it's gorgeous! I don't think I'd have the guts to get one that big - I had such a hard time with the pain for this one (I'm a complete baby when it comes to pain - I actually passed out for a minute yesterday!).
I was so happy with mine that I just had to share it, and I love seeing other people's tattoos... so get to posting them ladies!
