Point suggestions for oven spaghetti

  • My mom makes this baked oven spaghetti that's loaded with cheese, black olives and other veggies. We've been invited over for dinner this evening and I know that that is what she's fixing. I don't think there is an actual recipe, so I'm having trouble figuring out what to do about the points.

    I was thinking I would base my judgement on 1/2 cup of pasta being 2 points, then knowing that it will have ground beef and cheese in it (ignoring the veggies for points) do you think I could assume 5 points total for 1/2 cup? It does have a tomato based sauce, not a cream sauce.

    Any suggestions you might have would be appreciated!!!!!
  • I would say probably more with the cheese and beef because she probably ins't using low fat or fat free cheese and probably normal (75-80% lean beef) for it.
