I'm a bleacher Basketball mom. My son is on the Varsity Basketball team and games start next Tuesday. I will leave work and go directly to the gym where the games are being played. I'm trying to come up with some strategies. Games are twice a week.
Not as hard as it would have been a couple years ago because all last year we took our own sack dinners and ate on the way. Pizza and hot dogs just don't cut it nutritionally. Last year we ate a ton of wraps.
I'd like some other suggestions. I'm thinking slimmed down wraps, slimmed down sandwiches, perhaps a small thermos of stews or soups, cut up veggies and fruit. Any other thoughts or suggestions? Anyone else been in this position before? I don't have any problem taking my own baggie of popcorn and bottled water for snacks either.
