seeking veggie dip!

  • I'm looking for a healthy veggie dip. Does anyone have a favourite brand or a recipe? I'd really appreciate it
  • try going to the knorr swiss web site for their spinach dip.

  • Thanks! I'll go have a look. Have you tried it before?
  • Try something I do that is so incredibly easy but good.

1 container IMO (16 oz size) (an immitation sour cream) (you can use fat free or low fat sour cream as well)
    1 packet onion soup mix.

That's it. If it seems a bit overwhelming with onion flavor, mix in a little mayo.
  • yes i've tried it. my mom makes it. glen

    Oooh that sounds yummy!!! Thanks
  • I like either hummus or salsa for a veggie dip. Both are relatively low in calories, salsa especially!
  • Trader Joes Lowfat Parmesan Ranch...mmm. Its a little thinner than a typical dip/dressing, so you don't use as much...and its so tasty!
  • One I like
16 oz of lowfat small curd cottage cheese put in food processor and mixed with 1 package dry ranch salad dressing mix.

You can substitute any dry salad dressing mix, but I prefer the ranch
  • mandalinn, do you know if trader joe's is available in Canada? I'll have to keep my eyes peeled the next time I'm at the grocery store. Thanks!
  • katallan, that sounds yummy! I loooove cottage cheese so I'll have to give it a shot! Thank you
