Hi folks. I was shopping today at a mall and was absolutely ravenous and parched. It was lunch time and I hadn't brought anything with me. So I pass a Haagen Daz stand and there's frozen yogurt. It claims to be fat-free & sugar free. And the girl behind the counter tells me that it's 110 calories for their 4 oz. serving. So I bought it and ate it.
So the question - just how accurate are they? Is there any government regulation telling them that they have to be accurate? I wasn't even sure if it was indeed a 4 oz serving or not as the girl claimed. Bottom line - should I believe them or not?
And while we're at it, just how accurate is the calorie counts on packaged food?
Thanks.
