Starting alllll over!

  • Hi everyone!

A few years ago, I lost 30 lbs on Weight Watchers. I started out at 217, the heaviest I'd ever been. I got a bit careless and gained about 15 lbs back, and then I got pregnant. My baby (my first!) is now 7 months old, and the scale's been stuck at 234 since about 2 weeks after she was born. But now it's up to 241!

    *sigh*

So I'm starting over. My self-esteem's at an all-time low, and this is the time when I should be happiest - I have a beautiful healthy baby who is just so much fun and brings so much joy to my life. But today I had to put on one of my maternity sweaters because none of my old clothes fit me, and enough's enough!

I'm starting back on the WW plan. I can't afford to go to meetings right now, but I have all of my old booklets and magazines (being a packrat has paid off!) and I'm starting fresh. I won't be able to lose weight as quickly as I'd like, because I'm still breastfeeding and hope to continue until my daughter is at least a year old. I have a couple of Lesley Sansone DVDs, a yoga DVD and a pilates DVD, and along with daily walks with the stroller, I should be able to get some exercise.

I just wanted to say hi and I'm looking forward to joining in and getting serious about getting back into my old clothes, one little step at a time!
  • Welcome !!
  • Ah but see ... you don't have to start all over because you already know some stuff from last time! Knowledge is power in the weight loss game and you already have some!
