Counting calories and low carbing ??

  • Need some input.....

    Are you all counting calories as well as low carbing?

    Or

    Are you just low carbing ?

    I'm not counting calories just low carbing and was wondering what you all were doing?

  • I am counting calories and trying to stay low carb. I use the dietwatch calculator and diary and aim for 1300 cals, 20+ grams fiber, 20-40 grams fat and about 100 grams carbs.

    How's that for an answer.

    Leenie~~I don't count calories, HOWEVER, I do watch calories. (Obviously not good enuff tho! lol) For example

    If I have a baked potato, and I want sour cream, I leave out the butter and cheese. Same with veggies. I don't fry my meats but bake/grill or broil. Make any sense? Now, if I can just get the portion (calories) under control at my RM !!!
  • I have counted callories. if i am stalled i will count to see if i am taking in to much calories. i found that when i took to many calories especially in fat that i was not losing. it slowed it down to about 1200 - 1500 cals and then started to lose again. i use diet watch also and another www.lifeform.com the last one is down loadable but only for a 21 day trial.
