has anyone..

  • Afternoon!

Has anyone tried this tea, http://www.wulongforlife.com/ ?

I just ordered some and thought I would give it a try. I am doing pretty great on LAWL and I was going to add green tea to my diet and then I saw this today and it looks like it is a better tea to add . I ordered 3 since it gives me one free. It says 30 day money back guarantee so what the heck eh :P
  • Wu-long tea is another name for oolong tea, which is available for much less from other sources. My favorite place to buy tea is www.adagio.com I've not found any published studies that show oolong is better than green tea. Green tea can help with weight loss, though the results are not as dramatic as the advertisements lead us to believe. The only published study showed that 4 cups of green tea per day led to 8 pounds of fat loss over the course of a year. It's a great source of antioxidants, so it's still a good addition to our diets I've started drinking white teas which are even higher in antioxidants, and particularly love the flavored varieties such as pear or tangarine I find they help me avoid the nibbles.
  • I agree that this will do nothing more than if you bought regular green tea or oolong tea from a local store-it is just going to be more expensive.
What also worries me about this, is that one of the "as seen in" publications to the left of the screen there is the book by Kevin Trudeau-who is a widely known "scam artist". He does all sorts of books, infomercials, and other things-and every 10 minutes it is about a different miracle product.
Your local health food store, or even some grocery stores will have all of the teas you need.
Green tea, white tea, black tea, herbal tea-they all have wonderful properties to them-but none really provide weight loss, sorry to say.
