November Exercise - Now is NOT the time to slack off!!

  • Just a friendly reminder that you need to keep up the exercise during the upcoming holiday season. Fat does NOT know it's the holidays and that those special foods are not supposed to "count" They do count! Stave off the traditional 5-10 pound weight gain and the traditional New year's Kicking of one's self in the rear by maintaining or even starting your exercise program NOW. It not only a great way to keep the pounds off, but will help combat the inevitable stress that is heading our way like a freight train!

So don't be a - get to sweating!!
  • hey LindaT

Miss Cathy, well quit thinking and just DO!! if thinking burned calories, none of us would have extra fat!!

Life is busy, but doing okay. Finally broke down and bought a new car. Old one was 17 years old so it was time. Just keeping busy with my furball act, church stuff and work. And of course exercising. I signed up for the PUSH program here that the Girls talk about on the main 3FC page. It's pretty neat, but I don't like Bob Harper as much in my living room as a trainer as I do on TV. He makes me hurt!!

    How are you doing?
  • hey LindaT - life sounds busy as always!

a new car whooo hooooo what kind did you get?

how many miles did you have on your car after 17 years?

mine is a 98 (i think) and i have 160,000 miles on it - yikes - but i'll run it til it can't go anymore. i don't think it will make it 17 years like yours tho - that's a long time to have the same car

and oh you are so right - if thinking burned calories - i would only be a tiny little thing - sure wish it worked like that

    it's great chatting with ya!
    hugs,
    Cathy
