  • Starting the topic. Be back later today.

  • Well, I started ALL-OVER today, and I guess I should consider myself lucky, I only gained a pound--I am now determined to get down to brass tax--with the holidays coming, feel as though I should get it under control now--I am wishing good luck to everyone else out their doing this weight-loss journey.
  • Hi ladies, well down 1.4 this week. Boy was it a hard week all I thought about most days was food, chocolate cake, pizza, nachos you name it. I was good and did not fall but why do I do this? I have been doing my mile walk so that has been good. I hope to restart my swimming this week also. Well, have a good week girls.

  • Woooooooohooooooooo!!!! I lost 4 pounds this week, so I'm at 229!!
  • Anyone have ideas for low point breakast recipes
  • jnance - good for you for starting over. Good luck!

Fiona - congrats on a great weigh in . Good for you for getting the walking in. Are you able to give in to one of those cravings in a controlled way? If so, I find that sometimes it helps to give into the craving in a controlled way (count the points, watch the serving) as a way of lessening the cravings.

Miss Cretia - congrats on starting the run/walk program! I did that a few years ago when I wanted to do the Race for the Cure 5K. Just be sure you have good running shoes and stretch, stretch, stretch!

Lisa - awesome job and contratulations on getting into a new decade!

Davis - I'm big on oatmeal, egg white omelettes and WW 1 pt cereal with skim milk.

I had a good weigh in on Saturday - down 0.6 but hey, I'll take it. I've found myself eating a lot of junk though so I decided to do a Core week this week. So far, so good. I did a bunch of baking/freezing for Thanksgiving this past weekend (I'll have between 25 and 30 people at our house) and I tried a new recipe for a Pumpkin Apple bread - it is not reduced fat but boy is it good. The recipe makes 2 loaves. I froze one and Tony and I have had one slice on Sunday and yesterday. I decided tonight I'm not having a slice (challenging myself to control how/when I eat it) and so far so good. I had PT yesterday (and have it tomorrow) - today is just stretching. I did some clothes shopping today because I *really* need clothes for work - almost everything I have is too big and I was amazed at what sizes I got into. It sure is good/non-scale reward.

    Have a great one,
    Judy
  • Hello to All,

I have reached an all time weight height and have pulled out the WW material again and am starting over for the final time. I have a lot of weight to lose and plan to do it at home. I need support and encouragement and hope to be able to help others as well.

Can I join your group for WIs?

    Thanks,
  • I'm a newbie too. I weighed 164.5 this morning.
  • I lost 2 pounds this week, but I think it has a lot to do with the fact that my grandmother passed away Friday. I haven't really felt like eating as much as I normally do. It has been a really difficult month... my dad had triple bypass surgery at the beginning of October. However, Dad is doing great and he has been very blessed with his recovery process. Hopefully everything will begin to look up for November. I will always miss and love my grandmother, but I know she is in heaven with God and there is certainly no better place than that to be! I hope everyone is having a great week. Keep up the great work!

  • I am always the last to weigh in on this thread because I weigh in on Sunday mornings. I was down 3 this week! I was in Florida with my kids for fall break last week and gained half a pound, so I was happy to see the scale go down this week! Next weekend is a girls' trip to Vegas, so I hope that I can keep going while on my trip! I didn't cheat but one day in Florida, so I hope I can be as good in Vegas. Congrats on all of the losses this week! Oh - - any my favorite breakfast is a WW english muffin with spray butter and sugar free jam and a WW yogurt for 3 points. Have a great week everyone!
  • I'm sure you will be good in Vegas.. you'll probably do a ton of fitness with walking around and maybe dancing
