New from Georgia

  • On the advice of a great friend I am here! I need some HELP!! I weigh the same amount as I did when I gave birth to my 2 year old. I just recently got back from a wedding, where I was appaled to see my picture! Enough of the pity party, I am ready to work! I need some friends to ride me though. Things here in GA can get too laid back, and I have fallen into some awful eating habits. (The food here is tooo good!)

I need your words of inspiration and I need some accountability friends FAST!!!!

  • You just have to think about how bad you want to lose the weight.. Im Trista, so if you need any help im here for you!
  • Hey,
I'm Monique. I just moved from Texas to NE. I know how good food can be. But where we have moved, there is really not that much to choose from, so it might be in my favor. I have baby fat to lose too. My little boy is 10 months. It's tough. And you think because you are chasing them everywhere, you are doing something good, but the bulge sometimes doesn't go. I have also seen recent pictures of me. Eeeekkk!!! That's why I started this. I can't have my son looking at pictures, wondering why I am not in them. I know you can do it! You'll be skinny in no time. Just keep on track.
  • Hi Nicole! I live in Duluth..and my daughter and her husband live in Flowery Branch! (well, more towards Oakwood...) I agree that the food here can be awfully good, BUT, it CAN be healthy, and good for losing weight too! Fruits, vegetables are plentiful, and I have no trouble finding whole grain breads. Publix has a good selection of whole grains...they even have 100% whole wheat waffles! I do Sugarbusters. PM me if you want to chat with a fellow Georgian!
