New here

  • hello! i just borrewd the Fat Smash Diet book from the library after a friend told me about it. I quit smoking back in January and have gaiend about 30 pounds. Not good to get rid of one habit and devlop another one! ..anyways..any encouragements and prayers would be helpful at this point.I'm 41 years old and want to be able to have the energy I did a few years ago!
  • Welcome, I'm new and am on day 2 of detox. It's very similar (actually more flexible) than a different diet I was on last month and did good on but found it too restrictive.

This is perfect for me but I just have to keep in control once I get out of detox, even with the allotted foods. I'll probably use Fitday to keep my calories in check.
  • I have been Fat Smashing for 6 weeks and I have lost 17 lbs. My husband has lost 32 lbs in the same amount of time. The program works! The key for me has been to be creative with my meals. It is also important to eat every 3 to 4 hours. It keeps you in the fat buring mode.

    Good Luck!

  • I too quit smoking (about 4+ years ago) and gained about 30 as well! on top of the fat I already had

    Good luck!
  • Sherry, my husband thought about doing this with me, but he had the gastric bypass almost 3 years ago, and too many veggies and fruits can make him sick. But he's still small. He has kept it off and looks fabulous!
