  • Ok, All of you here is a KICK in the Butt. We can do this.
    We have to focus on one meal at a time. One day at a time.
    If you eat bad at one meal, eat a little better at the next. I am not one to deprive myself of anything. I'm eating candy, chips, dip, hotdogs, hamburgers, and I'm planning the Itailian tonight.
    I don't always get my fruit in or my milk. But I try. That's all any of us can do. Try one meal at a time. If you get out of control, stop, focus, evaluate what you are doing, and catch your breath. Let it out, and start over. I do this weekly, and sometimes daily. There are times when I want to quit to, but I'm not going to let (this guy defeat me). I'm going to do it, with your help and with God's. So hang in there. I hope that didn't hurt to bad.
    I needed it just as bad.

    Hello everyone,

    Just wanted to post and say hi. It has been a long time since I have posted but I read the posts regularly. I am still struggling to stay on track but I am hoping that will change shortly.
    I have also been trying to get a new chapter started at work. I had an open house on September 5 and have had 2 meetings since. There aren't a lot of members but currently we have 7 with one more in the process of transferring to it. It is hopefully going to motivate me a little more.
    It is definitely fall weather here. I am glad it is cooler than it was this summer but we still need rain. It is so dry here.
    Anyway....I will keep this short and hope it is okay if I come back. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

    Welcome back Marie!

    I lost 1.5 lbs at weigh-in yesterday. Yeah!!!
    It surprised me. The way I have been eating lately, I thought I would have a gain again. That was really encouraging to me. I feel like I am getting back on track again. We have all been struggling lately, but girls, don't give up. Keep trying, its worth it to lose weight. My DIL joined TOPS at the end of February and has lost 29 lbs so far. She only has about 7 lbs to go to goal. I'm hoping that she will make queen of our chapter this year. I wish I could get as motivated as she is.

    Sherri, I doubt that I will try the hollywood diet after all. I took my coupon and went to the store, but when I saw that it was $29.99, I changed my mind. We're going to a class reunion in Oct. and to visit family after that. Then, I want to get back to WW winning points.

    Welcome to all the new ladies. And thanks for all the encouragement that this group has given me.
