Did anyone see it yesterday? I usually don't watch it, but it was about people who will do almost ANYTHING for beauty...including chopping off their toes to fit into designer shoes!

Anyway, there was a lady on the show, who was 5'9" that has been wearing a corset for over 25 yrs, 24/7...sleeps with it and everything, and has whittled her waist to a unhealthy 14 inches!!!! Her husband is an orthopedic surgeon, and has no problem with what she is doing to herself. It was disgusting!!! It looked like she had a top half and a bottom half but they weren't attatched! oh my gosh I would never do that!

What pocesses people to do things like that...do they not understand how horrible it actually makes them look???

Kind of like those African women who elongate their necks!

Even 150 years ago they didn't go that extreme, and women were much smaller then anyway...but gees...ouch.
