Did anyone see it yesterday? I usually don't watch it, but it was about people who will do almost ANYTHING for beauty...including chopping off their toes to fit into designer shoes!

Anyway, there was a lady on the show that has been wearing a corset for over 25 yrs, 24/7...sleeps with it and everything, and has whittled her waist to a unhealthy 14 inches!!!!

He husband is an orthopedic surgeon, and has no problem with what she is doing to herself. It was disgusting!!! It looked like she had a top half and a bottom half but they weren't attatched! oh my gosh I would never do that!

i watched that, it was pretty insane. I have really long toes and there is no way i would chop them off lol I just look at it like i have better balance and i can swim better than most because i have my own flippers hahahaha

I think if my intestines were being squeezed that hard, I'd have "leakage". One little bit of gas and I'd blow my britches off. LOL. I mean, seriously the crazy things some people do.

I saw part of the show....the part with the lady. It looked to me as if everything in her middle was pushed up to the top...and she was ready to explode. She looked so sick...and to top it off her orthopedic surgeon hubby things it is ok. Sorry I don't get to be his patient.

Hey, the hubby is an orthopedic surgeon, not an internal medicine specialist! No WONDER he sees nothing wrong with this - now if this was a hip dysplasia issue, well then...

I can't imagine how hard it would be to find clothes that fit with a 15 inch waist. I'm sure everything would have to be custom made. I still can't see how anyone would think this would be even remotely attractive.
