My hero of the day

  • My hero for today is:
You girls on here who stay strong and keep working so hard. I see how far you have come and I am in awe of your strength and perseverance. You guys are amazing.

    Who are your heroes?
  • Ok no one has any heroes.
  • My hero for the day is my husband. Because he is right on board with me being a stay-at-home mom, makes just enough for me to do so, and when I offered to go to work this fall (my son started Kindergarden), he said, "Why? you've been working hard for 12 years taking care of the kids...take some time for yourself...you've earned it!" So, I've had time to go for mondo walks after my son goes to school, meet friends for breakfast, clean my house, write my book I've been wanting to write. It's been great...

So, everyday, when the school calls and my son or daughter needs me at school, when they get home at 3 and don't have to go to a sitter till I get home...my husband is my hero for making it possible for me to be home for them.
  • I agree 100% with techwife. My DH works hard to provide for our family. I stay at home and take care of our home, the bills, the yard, the shopping, the children. He loves it this way and so do I. I now have time to write the book that I started and time to spend with my 2 grandbabies. I worked for 20 yrs. when I needed the income and now I can relax a little and enjoy my free time. He is a sensitive, caring person. Never gets upset if I spend money on myself. (which I do now, since losing wt. and needing new clothes). He is my Hero.
  • Today my hero is my son & all the soldiers...I am very proud of him/them for being so brave and serving our country. And they don't get paid enough for doing it!

But everyday my hero is DH...he too is a great provider and husband and I love him for putting up with me, lol, and being the man he is.
