Has anyone here had any problems with the Mirena IUD?
Ive just realised that since I was fitted with it I gained nearly 20kg (thats over 40 pounds). Im also finding it really difficult to lose the weight, even though I have been sticking to my plan really well, I did lose a bit at the beginning but now my weight loss has stalled

I had a Mirena IUD for a couple years, and had it removed a few months ago. Weight gain is very common with the Mirena. Do a google search, and you'll find tons of people experiencing the same problems. I just had my tubes tied, so I'm done!!

Yes I did do a google search, and it seems its a very common problem. Ive had mine removed today
