Do you have a BD Monitor?

  • LifeScan is offering free monitors to BD Logic Patients because BD is leaving the market and discontinuing blood glucose monitoring products.

    So is Abbot:

I don't know how that will affect those with a pump that uses BD strips.
  • Smart move from both companies...I believe they must rake in a LOT of profits on the strips. I use the LifeScan One Touch Ultra 2, and I really like it.

    Thanks for posting the info!
  • How funny... a couple of months ago, I recieved a free BD monitor in the mail... not sure how they got my name etc, but they sent me one... the one I was using was 5 or so years old...so it was time for a change... sounds like I'll be changing again... thanks for the info.

  • On BD Monitoring
    Good Morning

Now that the new year has begun, I too am working on trying to get healthy. I have diabetes, and because I didn't take it serious, now I must take insulin. I had a BD monitor and called Abbot thanks to your link, and guess what? you can get a free monitor. I wanted to thank you for the link, and also remind everyone that we do not diet...we strive to eat healthy, get fit, and live a long healthy happy live, and being able to wear a size 10, is one of the great perks of that.

Be well all, and remember water is not our enemy...
