Thanksgiving Food Breakdowns on LAWL

  • Hello All!
We have our Canadian Thanksgiving this weekend and I am just wrapping up my first week. Does anyone know the breakdowns for things like Pumpkin Pie, Gravy or Stuffing? I only plan to share a bite of each but would like to know how to count for it as we may have a few dinners ahead of us between now and Christmas?

    Loving the program so far!
  • There really is no way to count it and have it be on-plan. Your COD should help you figure out the best way to stay on plan or close to it. Really-any of our guesses would be just as good as yours.

    Happy Thanksgiving and good luck!
  • I don't know the Canadian food traditions ...here it's turkey at Thanksgiving, which is easy to roast on plan...Sweet Potatoes, which I Love to boil and mash...no butter, no cream, no milk, no marshmallows and yet they are still sweet and yummy!, make your stuffing, feed it to the kids! There's a awesome 7 layer salad in the recipe thread that Bizlawchick provided for us. There are also some great apple recipes for desserts as well as other yummy stuff in the recipe thread as well, check it out! Happy Thanksgiving.
