I've been nursing for almost 3mths and have just started watching my calories. I stay between 1500-2000 but am always at 1800 and below. Is this a good amount? It seems many people who aren't nursing and are dieting are taking in that much. I'm trying to lose 22lbs by January 1st and that will put me at my pre-preg weight. Then I'll create another goal of 24lbs to put me under 200lbs!
I've been living my new lifestyle for one week and lost a pound. I just want it to all fall off but I guess a pound is good/normal.
I'm new here so I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm going to go search for food ideas, mainly snacks, and see what I can add to my lame menu.


. 1800 seems low to me... 1200 is the min. I've ever heard anyone suggest going and you need about 500 extra to produce milk for your baby
