I'm ready for a change...

Hi everyone,

I decided to play hookie from work today after one of my co-workers made an awful comment about my weight yesterday. It was obviously no secret to anyone that I have gained about 30-40 lbs within the last year but the nasty remark really hit a sensitive spot. I decided to use today to do some soul searching and in doing so i found this wonderful website. I spent the last half hour reading some of your comments and I really think this can be a great support for me. I look forward to getting to know all of you and I think that together we will all meet our goals!

ps I too would like to know how to insert that cute little sliding scale that lots of u guys have...

Hi! Welcome!

To insert the weight tracker thingy, just go up toward the top of the page and click on "Quick Links" and then down to "Sig Weight Tracker" and that's that... it'll take you through a few steps and then you'll just have to insert it into your signature line - just copy the code they give you at the end of those steps and then go back to "Quick Links" and this time click on "Edit Signature" and just paste what you copied earlier.

LOL That sounds more confusing than it actually is. I promise.

Hi, Jenn !!

Welcome! I want to say how impressed I am by TWO things. The first -- and probably most obvious -- is your decision to make a lifestyle change. That's a HUGE deal because once we take that first mental step, we're (in my opinion) halfway there. The SECOND thing that really impressed me is that you took a day off from work to do something important for YOU. I have a hideous habit of becoming a workaholic and saying "yes" to everyone, so people like you -- who can recognize their own need for time and actually DO something about it -- really inspire me .
