  • Hello all,

I am so glad to be here! I am a stay-at-home mom with a part-time job here at home, which leaves me sitting a lot of the day. I started my weight loss journey about four weeks ago and have come a long way, but now I need some motivation! I love the support you all give/receive here.

I have achieved a great deal of my weight loss by restricting myself from food that I love. I am here to learn how to take the food I love and prepare it in a way that is not only healthy for myself but for my family too.

I just stumbled across this web site. I started using the site today and already love the calorie counters and recipes. Can't wait to get started!

  • Hi there! We are alot alike I am almost a month into my life change. I am a stay at home mom during the day, then I work in the evenings. I am a calorie counter and a water drinker. I hate the idea of restricting myself because I need to be able to live with my diet for the rest of my life. I want to lose the weight and keep it off! So if I have a craving for something unhealthy, I wait 10-15 minutes, drink 8 oz of water and try to think of a healthy choice instead. If I still have to have it after that then I allow myself a small portion. I find that my motivation is slowing down at the moment, but I will be getting back on track because I can actually see the difference after 10 pounds gone. You are doing great already! Doesn't it feel great to acheive a part of your goal??
  • Welcome, you'll love it here. Congradulations on your weight loss, the beginning is the hardest part and you have already done that! Good Luck! Lori.

Hi, I found this site by accident, started eating differently 2 weeks ago when I joined TOPS. Just by cutting out pop my feet and legs are so less swollen and that makes me feel a lot better. I have a lot of weight to lose. I have been telling my husband that I'm twice the woman he married, but at this point it's about 2 and a third. Hoping to meet folks who are encouraging.
