  • Hi everyone! THought I'd take a minute and introduce myself. I'm a very lapsed Lifetimer. I reached goal in May 2001-weighing 115lbs (am 5'1") stayed that weight for a year and then fell off track. I have a small frame and do not recognize this body. I"m a 28yo mom of 4 and am one of those women other women "hated" for having a flat tummy by 6wk postpartum So these many lovely rolls are very new to me (and cannot be blamed on pregnancies...sigh) Also new are these sprouting "wings" of back flab I hate constantly having to readjust my clothes, conscious of where the fabric may be tucking Aside from the vanity of it, my knees have begun to bother me and with a family history of various cancers, rheumatoid arthritis and other such pleasantries the weight has GOT TO GO. In addition to being a mom, I'm a labor doula, childbirth educator and part time student. Looking forward to getting to know and support all of you.
  • Hi JerseyJess, I also am a Lifetimer who fell by the wayside. Signed up online to see what the Core program was all about, tried it for a week, lost a couple of pounds, and decided to go back to counting points and try to eat foods based on the Core plan. I feel if I am given free rein to eat until satisfied, I will overeat.
Good luck to both of us!...May we both have the determination and willpower needed to win the battle of the bulge!
  • Welcome Jess!
  • New Too!!
I am new also. I am a Lifetime member of ww that is starting again this week. I have gained almost all of my weight back in the last year. I have come to the realization that ww is a life time change. I need to get back on track. I have known this in my head, but not in my heart. WW works for me. I like the structure of the points system. I gets me to eat healthier. I like working out, it makes me feel better. So why the heck do I fall back to my "old ways"? So here I am, ready to suck up all of your pearly words of wisdom. And, hopefully, I can give some in return.
