I Did It!! I Did It!!!!!

  • I have a million and one things to do today but I still made working out a priority and I've never done this before. Yah, for me. Maybe I'm finally turning over a new leaf, I hope so. See Ya.
  • Shannon! way to go- I've heard that exercise gets as easy and routine as brushing your teeth each day. something you would never NOT do... you definitely deserve the dancing carrot!!

    ps- we're at the same point on our scales- 4 lost and 42 more to go!

  • Way to go, Shannon! I have found I have to do the same thing in making it a priority! Yesterday I had a million things to do... house is a mess, etc. But I decided to go out to the pool and work out anyway. If I wait until I "have time" I will never get there. It IS a priority and it WORKS if you make it one.

  • That's terrific! Getting exercise in is my biggest challenge...

    As for the person who said it gets easy and routine... unfortunately, that has not been my experience. I have been exercising regularly for almost a year and have been doing an avg of 30 min/day (or more) for months now. But on MANY days I still have to fight with myself to go and exercise. I do it, because I know I should, but it is a struggle. Most days, getting my shoes on is the hardest part. Once I'm dressed for it, I do it.

    I know lots of people do get in a groove, and find or rediscover a love of exercise, but not all of us do! For your sake, I hope you're not like me! But if you are, know that you can struggle with it, but still do it!
