When there really is no where else to eat, like during long drives with small rest stops, I usually pick Wendy's over McD's (refuse to eat there at all!!!) or BK. I usually get the chili and a small salad...but they now have a Mexican themed taco salad that is made with their chilli. I get it without the chips--the dressing portion size is huge, but it's OP and yummy...I just use half. It definitely has more fat than we are supposed to regularly consume (it's all saturated...cheese etc.), but it's a pretty healthy choice compared to some of what's out there. If I get to choose, I'd rather go to Panera (

) or to Ruby Tuesday's.
But I agree, homemade is the best!

I love the recipe for White Chicken Chili under Phase 1 in the recipe forums. It's delicious!
