This is a pretty "crappy" time for both of us, so I apologize for the shortness. Shar had a drain installed today, Dr prefers to avoid making an unneccesary abdominal incision at this time. He plans on putting the feeding tube in during the revision. Due just the drain being installed, she was able to come home tonight ( A VERY GOOD THING). She will remain on morphine, dextrose and levaquin through the weekend. We will meet with the Dr next tuesday to assess her condition/ progress and finalize "the plan of attack" for her revision. We are "eye'n" the 28th as a good possibility. Keep her in your thoughts and I'll post in a few days.
I'm glad she was able to come home. It's a time when you guys should be to be together. All my thoughts will be with her on the 28th. Thanks for posting.
Hi, I haven't logged on in a while, but you guys were on my mind! Glad Shar is finally home! I hope things go well for her! Good luck on the 28th, I hope it's the last surgery she'll ever have to do!
I am a lurker, and I always check in to see how Shar's doing. Man I am really thinking of her and you. She's had enough pain, she needs results. Prayers coming to you from another Weapons Troop.
