Questions For The Ladies?

  • hey ladies! I have a question to ask you. How many pounds do you pick up during your period?Next question, How long do you wait after you eat to do a workout?has any one felt lighter in weight but as soon as you step on the scale its say no pounds lost and you look at the mirror and you see no change in your body. you know you have lost weight but nothing would prove it. thanks to everyone that answers my questions.
  • I have had a hysterectomy , but prior to that would gain 4 or 5 lbs. during my period. I usually wait at least 2 hrs. after eating to work out. I have thought at times that I felt lighter and felt that I looked thinner in the mirror too and the scale showed the same. But, reversely sometimes I think I feel fatter and look fatter and the scale shows I have lost weight. So, for me it goes both ways.
  • My period has been very irregular to non-existent since I reached goal weight...however...

I recently went back on the pill and my period started a week afterward...three weeks later I am STILL bleeding >.<

    Sorry lol...side track rant there

I gained about 5 or 6 pounds this time...I bloated out something absolutely chronic. I had to put the scales away for fear I'd do myself harm from frustration at seeing those numbers go up so much overnight.

I haven't stepped back on them in nearly two weeks...much to scared to lol.

  • Oops, did NOT see that this thread had posts already. I posted in the other one.

Lyria-Sweety, have you been to the gyno for a checkup since starting BC? My friend had a similar experience...and I don't think it's your period "catching up," although I'm not a doctor or anything. She was bleeding for three weeks at a time because her ovary had a cyst on it or in it or whatev. She found out too late because she put off visiting the gyno for 5 months of this, and now she has very little chance of concieving. Not to scare you, but your post worried me a little...if you haven't had a checkup, get it!
