Day 2--This is not a challenge

  • Good morning, everyone. I'm glad some others understand the Challenge challenged.

I did go outside yesterday evening and shoot some hoops with the family. I also found a jump rope and chased my son around the yard a little while jumping. (Aren't you glad we aren't neighbors?)

    Today's food:

    b--yogurt w/blueberries
    s--pria if I need it
l--chicken burrito on whole wheat tortilla, spinach, lite sour cream, picante
    s--a GIANT plum
d--not sure yet. Probably more chicken in one form or another

I'll figure the calories later, but it's 8 superfoods.

For exercise, we'll either play more basketball or take a family walk.

    Have a great day, everyone.
  • Ran 3 miles this am.
Breakfast: cereal with skim milk and strawberries.
    Snack: strawberries and yogurt
Lunch: veggie burger patty with cheese, fruit and veggies
Dinner: pasta with veggies and tomatoes
    Kick cardio tonight

Because my focus is on clean eats, I will stay away from overly processed foods with large amounts of sugar (donut holes!)
  • Man, you guys are kicking some bootay! I am just happy to have a healthy balanced diet of around 1700-1800 calories and get some walking in. I also do housecleaning for exercise. It is a wonderful way to get two birds knocked out with one stone. An hour a day really helps!
  • Got back on the treadmill last night, and when I finished that I did my Pilates exercises. Managed to miss dinner (wasn't hungry) but I had some strawberries and half a kiwi.

This morning I'm going to get on the treadmill (once hubby has his breakfast and is out the door), eat my breakfast, and go do play therapy with kids for 2 hours. Home for lunch, out to library volunteering, run a couple of errands, home for dinner, out to an appointment this evening...all I can say is thank god for the crockpot!

    This is my plan:

    B: Fuji apple
    peanut butter
    tea

    L: chicken breast
    stir-fry veggies w/ sauce
    fresh pineapple

D: chicken Baja rice (rice, veggies, spices)

So...8 superfoods, at least. Lots of veggies/fruit, no processed carbs, no sugar.
