Hi everyone. My name is Sherry and I am new to this group. I am trying to work OA myself and w/online meetings. So, I am excited about this group. I really need some people who are working OA to talk to. I have been a compulsive overeater since I was 14 and I am now 35. I am really struggling with abstinence. It's hard. But the peace I feel working this program is so great. I want abstinence so badly. For the continued peace and weight loss. I am going thru a break-up so it's even more challenging. I hope to get to know you guys and be a support to you as well!

Congrats on finding OA online, on working towards you abstinence and on finding peace within yourself.

There are some wonderful people here, although not all of us are actively involved in OA. I hope you find lots of support and encouragement!
