hi everyone im new to weight watchers i was wondering if i can total up all my calories, fiber and fat at the end of the day and calculate it that way i looked it over and it seemed to be accurate?
tia
is this what you want? 1 point=50 cals
kind of i meant though if you dont have time to go to the pc to document if you can take your total calories at the end of the day and your total fiber and fat and then go and calculate to get yout points for the day
example x amount calories
x fiber
x fat
for the whole day
then use the online calculator to calculate your points
today i had 867 calories,9 grams fiber,9 grams fat= 17 ponts
this is so far i know i need to use some more points
The problem with that is at the end of the day you could be way under or you could be over. I think it is easier knowing how many points you have left during the day when trying to plan your meals. Otherwise I could end up going over when I didn't even realize it.
you do have a point i didnt think of that
I agree, need to try to track as you eat, or even plan ahead if you can. I've done this a long time, on again off again, and have been very surprised at times if I don't keep up throughout the day....
Before you know it, it will be second nature to you...
Good luck
That may or may not be totally accurate because a point can be between 30 and 75 points depending on fat and fiber.
This is what W/W put out for a daily average:
20 points = 1150 calories
22 points = 1250 calories
24 points = 1350 calories
26 points = 1450 calories
28 points = 1550 calories
30 points = 1650 calories
32 points = 1750 calories
34 points = 1850 calories
35 points = 1900 calories (Weekly Points Allowance)
36 points = 2050 calories
Remember this is not always true but a good guide and DOES NOT include the 200-250 calories a day W/W built into the program for free veggies.
