I had another gain Yuck!
This typing is harder than it looks.It is going to take a lot of practice.I use the CD program that I put on computer to practice and I think it is helping. My finger I shot is going to be a little bit of a problem.But practice should help. My hat goes off to all you ladies who know how to type.It may take a while but I am determined to learn this..Wish I could do as good with my eating.

hi, hoping we get some rain here in nova scotia today.been dry for a really long time.i do this receipe when i get hungry for something sweet. yummy.
weight watchers strawberry shortcake
2 cups strawberries hulled and crushed
2 cups hulled and crushed
graham wafers
small pkg strawberry jello lite
line 8" square pan with graham wafers
bring first 2 cups of strawberries to boil continually stiring.
add small pkg of strawberry jello and stir.
cool a few minutes and add the other 2 cups of strawberries
if not sweet enough add add sugar twin
pour onto graham waffers
cool and top with cool whip made with skim milk
makes 4 servings
1 serving+1 starch 1 fruit 1 extra

i use strawberries thawed out from the freezer.i also only make 1/2 of receipe for 2 people using smaller pan. i make this for saturday nites and it is so good.if i am in hurry i put it in freezer for an hour. yum tops hugs jinky

I like that idea of the shortcake, I like to get easy recipes that are not time consuming and also dont make you feel so guilty when you want to have a little sweet to eat. I have found one, that I did not think would be that good, and to my surprise, wow, it was pretty good. simple too.

You take one angel food cake mix and one can (not the small ones) of crushed pineapple, take the cake mix and stir in the pineapple and mix. put it into a 13 x 9 pan, and bake at 350 for 35 minutes, depends on oven, mine took closer to 40 minutes. Let it cool and then top with cool whip lite. It was really good and light too. I just thought I would share that with you. I was gonna try to use a different fruit, but dont know which would be good. I was thinking cherries might be good, but I think you would have to put them in the blender first to make them easier for the recipe.

I have had a hard week and a half, vacation started it off. It just took me right away from paying attention to what was going in my mouth and to top that off, that monthly cycle came around at the end of the vacation and I could not find enough sweet to put into my mouth. This happens every month. I am keeping a journal and finding out that this is a regular thing. I am gonna have to start making sweet treats that I can have, to help this craving instead of going to the store and getting the doughnuts and cakes that look (and are) so good. I have found out that I think I should stay away from the store at least three days before this time of the month for me. Now, that would be a hard one. Tell your family, sorry no dinner tonite, I am avaoiding the store for three days. That would go over very well. right!!!

I am working on getting back on track. I think I fall of the wagon more than I am on the thing. I always seem to beat myself up about it. But, today I am saying, it has been a fun week, now back to life and get on and brush the dirt off. I am still doing good, I have lost and maintaining pretty good. When I got on the scale, it was a one pound gain, not bad, just dont want that scale going in that direction right now. But as Eleni says, I am the one in control here, its up to me.... that line makes me think every time. If its gonna be, its up to me...

Hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the weekend. Not planning much here except relaxing. Our next little get away is in six weeks, and I am gonna make sure I dont lose control over the little trip. I will continute to do my 20 minute workout (minimum requirement I have for myself - I like to do more, but doing this when I am not at home is a struggle - anyone else have the problem?) So I hope everyone does well over the weekend and stays on the plan the best we can and if we dont, just remember we can get back on again.
